I don’t know. I’m not even really upset about failing again because it was sort of expected this time. You know, sometimes I feel like I’m the only person in the world who never gets what she wants. It brings my already low self-esteem so much lower. I realize no one wins every time and failure leads to success, but just one thing. It’s all I wanted and yet, I still couldn’t have it.

Phillip Phillips wins American Idol Season 11. Probably one of the most emotional and touching Idol finales ever. Phillip is one of the most humble contestants in all the seasons I’ve been watching American Idol. He was one of my favorites from the beginning, and I’m glad he won.
